Big News: Our New Spring Menu Launches on Wednesday, September 25th!
Hey there, Surry Hills foodies! We’ve got some exciting news for you—our brand new spring menu is launching on Wednesday, September 25th at Dad & The Frog Café! We’ve been busy picking seasonal ingredients and putting together a menu that’s designed to keep you energized and satisfied for the warm part of the year.
What’s Coming to the Menu?
We can’t wait for you to try these standout dishes:
1. Wild Mushrooms (v) - $26.90
If you love mushrooms, this one’s for you! We’ve got a mix of porcini, oyster, shiitake, and shimeji mushrooms, all topped with fresh herbs and tahini yogurt. Plus, it comes with two poached eggs and toasted wholemeal sourdough. Perfect for a hearty brunch!
2. Spicy Fried Chicken Burger - $24.90
Get ready for some crunch! Our Spicy Fried Chicken Burger features crispy fried chicken tenders, mixed leaves, and a punchy garlic chili sambal mayo, all tucked into a toasted milk bun. It’s comfort food with a spicy twist—yum!
3. Avocado and Feta (v) - $24.90
Say hello to our Avocado and Feta dish—a fresh upgrade from our popular Avocado and Halloumi! Enjoy smashed avocado paired with creamy Danish feta, topped with two poached eggs, house-made dukkah, pomegranate seeds, and watermelon radish on toasted sourdough. It’s a delicious evolution that you won’t want to miss!
4. Chilli Scrambled Eggs (v) - $21.90
A favorite and a classic that we love to keep on our menu, our Chilli Scrambled Eggs are a must-try. Scrambled in browned butter with fermented chili and sun-dried tomatoes, they’re served on toasted sourdough for a breakfast that really packs a punch.
